This disclosure applies to every user of the Solara Futures platform. Please read it carefully before purchasing an evaluation or using the simulated trading service.

1. Hypothetical performance

HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM.

ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK OF ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL OF WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT TRADING RESULTS.

This warning is intended to make the limitations of hypothetical performance unmistakable; the production operator must obtain advice on any jurisdiction-specific disclosure wording before launch.

2. Simulated trading environment

Solara Futures operates an entirely simulated trading environment. No real capital is deployed, no real trades are executed on any exchange, and no real financial instruments are bought or sold through our platform. All account balances, profits, losses, and trading data displayed on the platform are hypothetical and exist solely within our simulation.

You should understand and acknowledge the following differences between simulated and real trading:

  • Fill quality: Simulated fills may not accurately reflect the slippage, partial fills, or rejections that occur in live markets, particularly during volatile conditions or around major economic releases.
  • Liquidity: Solara calculates fills from displayed Drift DLOB depth and rejects insufficient displayed liquidity. It still cannot reproduce exchange queue position, hidden liquidity, funding, liquidation mechanics or the market impact of a real order.
  • Latency: Execution speed in simulation does not represent the network latency, exchange processing times, or order queuing delays present in live trading.
  • Market impact: Simulated trades have zero market impact. In live markets, large orders can move prices, particularly in less liquid instruments or during off-peak hours.
  • Psychological factors: Trading with simulated capital does not carry the emotional and psychological burden of risking real money. Traders often behave differently when real financial consequences are involved, which can significantly alter performance.
  • Data feeds: While we endeavour to provide accurate and timely market data, simulated price feeds may occasionally differ from live exchange data due to technical factors.

3. No guarantee of profit

Solara Futures makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that any user will achieve profits, whether on our simulated platform or in any subsequent live trading activity. Trading crypto perpetuals with real capital involves substantial risk and is not suitable for all individuals.

Past hypothetical performance on the Solara Futures platform is not indicative of future results, whether simulated or real. Market conditions change, strategies that performed well historically may fail in the future, and individual results vary significantly.

4. Financial risk

While Solara Futures itself does not involve the trading of real money, we acknowledge that users may apply strategies developed on our platform to live trading with real capital. If you choose to trade live markets:

  • You could lose some or all of your invested capital.
  • You should never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
  • You should seek independent financial advice if you are unsure whether futures trading is appropriate for your financial situation.
  • Leverage in futures trading can amplify both gains and losses significantly.

5. Past performance

Past performance is not indicative of future results. Any trading results, statistics, leaderboards, or performance metrics displayed on the Solara Futures platform relate exclusively to hypothetical, simulated trading and should not be interpreted as evidence of likely future performance in live markets.

6. Third-party information

Any market data, news, analysis, or educational content provided through or alongside the Service is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice, investment recommendation, or solicitation to trade. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any third-party information.

7. Regulatory status

Solara Futures is not presented as a regulated financial services firm. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), or any other financial regulatory body. Our Service is an educational and evaluation platform for simulated trading.

By using the Solara Futures platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this Risk Disclosure in its entirety. You confirm that you understand the limitations of simulated trading and the risks associated with futures trading generally.
